Welcome to the West Indian Cavaliers Web page

The club was formed in 1972 and started playing at Burton Road sports field moving later to the old Mill Street Ground on the other side of the City. Cavaliers were one of the first residents of the Wilford Sports Complex before it was sold to Nottingham Forest for their Academy in 1999. The Club moved to the Nottingham University Ground while our new home at Birchover Park was under construction. The Pavilion was opened by the West Indian World record Test wicket-taker Courtney Walsh in 2002.

Cavaliers played with great success in the Notts.Amateur League winning many trophies before moving to Division 1b of the Bassetlaw and District League, winning the division at the first attempt in 1997.then winning the League,League Cup,NCB Premier Cup,The Champion of Champions and the National Jamaica Cup in 1998. We have played inthe NCB Premier League since its formation in 2001.

The Club is multi-racial with the motto of 'if good enough anyone can play'.
